NOVEMBER PROJECT
November Project Canada was born from an idea in Boston about getting together with like-minded people and getting fit and having fun together, for free.
They welcome everyone and anyone regardless of age or fitness level. It is about exercise, yes, but it is also about inclusive community building and being part of something real. They hug, laugh, swear and sweat together.
Workouts start at 6 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, rain or shine or snow!
Monday: Workouts are at a different location in the city every week. They post the location on Twitter on the weekend so you can plan your run/bike/walk to the location.
Wednesday: A stair workout, typically for a 30 minute duration, to see how many times you can get up and down.
Friday: Hill workout. They meet at the base of Walterdale Hill.

EDMONTON ARCTIC FRONTRUNNERS
A recreational running and walking group for Edmonton's LGBTQ community. Their goal is to provide a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which to engage in these activities. Runners and walkers of all degrees of experience and ability are welcome.
If you are joining for the first time they encourage you to contact the run coordinator prior to the run so that they are sure to meet you and introduce you before they set out. There are no fees associated with the group but members are encouraged to support LGBTQ recreation in Edmonton by joining Team Edmonton.
They usually meet at 10 am on Sunday at the west end of the parking lot in Emily Murphy Park.

EVENTS AND ROUTE MAPS
This year we have expanded to three events:
3 KM Walk: This non-competitive event is intended for walkers of all ages and abilities. This event will not be chip-timed and results will therefore not be recorded. The 3 KM walk takes place on a fully paved trail (other than a 200-metre flat section on grass near the start/finish line) with one minor hill.
5 KM Run/Walk: This event is intended for either runners or walkers. This event will be chip-timed and results will be recorded. The 5 KM run/walk takes place on a fully paved trail (other than a 200-metre flat section on grass near the start/finish line) with one minor hill. There is a water station near the half-way point of the route.
10 KM Run: This event is intended for runners. This event will be chip-timed and results will be recorded. The 10 KM run takes place on a combination of paved and gravel trails (with a 200-metre flat section on grass near the start/finish line) and has several hills throughout. Water stations will be located near the 2.5 KM and 7.5 KM points of the route.

Team Edmonton is a local non-profit organization that offers a free communications platform aimed at promoting locally volunteer-run (or low-cost) LGBTQ2S+ inclusive sports and recreational activities.

Financials
